BIOGRAPHY

Bernadette Chai is a Managing Director for Greystar’s Investment Management business overseeing the Asia-Pacific region where she provides management oversight and support to each of the operating countries within the region, including China, Singapore, Japan, and Australia. Her responsibilities include investment execution of acquisitions and developments, portfolio management, capital structuring, and strategy.

Before joining Greystar, Bernadette was an Associate Director in Corporate Finance at JLL. Prior to that, Bernadette spent eight years with Challenger Ltd in the real estate investment, funds management, and finance divisions.

Bernadette received her bachelor’s degree in business from the University of Technology, Australia and is a member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.
