BIOGRAPHY

David King is a Managing Director of Development for Greystar’s Development and Construction Services. David is responsible for all development activity across Central Florida, including site selection, negotiation, underwriting, capitalization, and full life cycle execution of new development opportunities. Since joining Greystar in 2015, David has held multiple titles across the development business and has been exclusively focused on Florida markets since 2016. To date, he has been directly responsible for over $1.4B of development in the region, representing over 4,200 multifamily units, 2,200 student housing beds, 600,000 SF of shallow bay industrial and a 172-key AC Marriott hotel.

Before joining Greystar, David was a Senior Associate with Grant Thornton, LLP.

David earned his Masters of Accounting degree from the Kenan Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill, and holds a bachelor of arts degree in Finance from Wofford College.
