BIOGRAPHY

Simon Ang is a Senior Managing Director of Infrastructure for Greystar and leads Greystar’s infrastructure Investment Management business. Simon is responsible for leading the company’s infrastructure team and is focused primarily on investments, capital deployment, and asset management. Simon serves as a member of Greystar’s Investment Committee for infrastructure.

Simon is an infrastructure investment and investment banking professional with over 20 years of international experience in the energy, transport, telecommunication, and environmental services sectors. Before joining Greystar in 2024, Simon was a Managing Director at CIM Group where he was a senior infrastructure investment professional leading waste, wastewater, and transport verticals. At CIM, Simon successfully invested over $760M of equity, including building Terreva, the fourth largest landfill renewable natural gas business in the US. Prior to CIM, Simon was a Senior Vice President at Macquarie Group where he led Macquarie Capital’s environmental services principal investing and investment banking business in the Americas, having built the platform with over $15B of successful transactions.

Simon holds a Bachelor of Commerce Co-op degree from the University of New South Wales.
